haiz no.. cnt be falling sick nw. tmr's the day and sun's going malaysia. haiz nvm..
ok tmr's de day. or in fact today. ok so it's nw or nvr. so we are going to tis lengkee street soccer competition held at well, lengkee cc. ok so ya tis is our 2nd time thr la. 1st time we enter the competiton was flashback....
2006. lol we were sec1. newly form bb team. under encouragement by officer qt, we send a team of me,weide,joel,kokwee,mingyao,yongzhuang and vin. we were in a open category and was facing teams much fitter and skillful than us. 1st game we lose 2-0 but 2nd game we won 1-0. thn as fate wld have it, it started to rain and the competiton was decided by a lucky draw. LOL.
we be making a change from the previous team tmr by bringing dc to replace vin in a bid to add stability to our def as our 1st choice gk.
nvm as we were sec1 thn, we were nt used to each other playing style and were nt as experienced as nw. yeah so nw we assure u we are btr than last time. coz over the past 2 yrs, we have gained much valuable exp playing, whether it's in sch, gombak,telok blangah or even the cage. we have learnt new skills (xcept me the 1-trick pony) lol and of cuz grown in height and srength. all tis will held aid us tmr. all the exp playing at the lengkee court will be put to use tmr.
ok some backgrd info on lengkee. it's hidden from the main rd. but yet cn be seen from the mrt if u look hard enuff juz b4 it goes into redhill station. lol so the court is nt veri big. with abt 1/3 of each half being the pen. box. as u noe street, att team cnt go inside the opp. pen. box and hence thr is veri little place to run and shoot. so tat court's emphasis is on movement and mobility. the winner wld be the team hu cld move the ball ard and of cuz the most clinical team plus tat little amount of luck all winner needs to have.
do we have the quality to win? i sae y nt? thr's definitely quality among our ranks and yeah even though it's a open category again tmr we have come a long way since sec1 and cld give normal team a run for their money. yeah even though thr's a possibility we might face yukai team we do nt have to worry. play our own game and with a little bit of luck, we will win.
